Speak Teens offers English language learners a unique experience in Italy: to improve their English with the support of teenage mother-tongue level English speakers. For the Learners, the camp may be the first opportunity they have had to put their English into practice with native level English speakers, our Anglos. The Anglos (mother tongue English-speaking level teenagers from around the world) are essential for bringing English to life through meaningful interactions and supporting the Learners by being patient and willing listeners.
The combination of our fantastic camp locations and exceptional camp facilities means we offer a varied, stimulating and unique daily timetable. For Learners, the opportunities to practice and improve their English spans the whole day. Morning sessions are generally language-based activities with a focus on interactive learning while the afternoon and evening sessions are based around dynamic Summer Camp activities such as sports, swimming, arts, excursions; Unique camp experiences such as outdoor cinema, orienteering and astronomy.
Student Managers will be central to the management of the Camp and dynamics between the teens. Working closely alongside the Camp Director, you will ensure the delivery of the daily programme and activity programme, ensuring teens are clear about what is happening, how and when, ensuring teens are in the right place at the right time and moving between sessions and activities, supervising meal times and house time.
